  • The Fourth Season premiered on June 12th, 2005 on USA Network.

  • It was announced on September 9th, 2004 that The Dead Zone had been renewed for a fourth season that would consist of 22 episodes, the largest season to date. Then later, the 22 episodes were divided into 2 seasons, so the production team shot the fourth & fifth season back-to-back and the production values were the same in both seasons.

  • A new theme song was introduced this season, called The Dead Zone Epic by Blues Saraceno that replaced Jeff Buckley's "New Year's Prayer" , that had been the theme song in the previous three seasons.

  • Among those who made guest appearences in this season were Martin Donovan, Jennifer Finnigan, Genevieve Cortese, Ben Foster, Laura Harris, Don S. Davis, Teryl Rothery, Danny Masterson, Edward Asner & Sarah Wynter.
     

  • The Fourth Season DVD set was released on June 13th, 2006.
